#Its The Biggg Day!!!#

“We are of opinion that instead of letting books grow moldy behind an iron grating, far from the vulgar gaze, it is better to let them wear out by being read.”

~Jules Verne~

April 23rd..Yet another special day for us to remember our favourite library picks that made our reading journey awesome..!!!

Here are some of my favourite picks from each genre that I hold close to my heart…😘

“But love is blind and lovers cannot see the pretty follies that they themselves commit”❤️
Life can’t be all that bad,’ i’d think from time to time. ‘Whatever happens, i can always take a long walk along the Bosphorus.”❤️
If Masterpiece had a name😎
“….that hides behind her walls”
“Behind very exquisite thing that existed , there was something tragic”

And the list goes on and on and on…. and a lot more masterpieces to read!✌️

~ With freedom, BOOKS, flowers and the moon ,who could not be happy? ~💫😉

~Love In The Time Of Cholera❤️~

-Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Genre – Romance ( and obviously magical realism)

This Classic from Gabo’s finest of the finest pen narrates the love tale between Florentino Ariza and Fermina Daza (protagonists), the story develops with the introduction of Dr.Juvenal Urbino..another major figure.

The beauty of the language used and a wonderful character portrayal make the book a worth read! Also the setting in which the story takes place – Columbia , cholera , symptoms , epidemics etc is wonderfully portrayed!

Though not in par with ‘One Hundred Years Of Solitude’ ..the book is indeed one of his best works. It would be fine to leave a place for this in your book shelf!

Toooo much character interferences and repeatation of themes (Well…inevitable in Marquez s books 😌) may drag you a bit….but once the momentum is gained this too would end up in a smooth memorable literal journey!

Shoot me! There is no greater glory than to die for love….❤️💫

~Florentino Ariza

Happy reading!!😊

a gift from : Charles Dickens for all Christmas to come…❄️

Genre: #fairy fiction# #classic#

A Must read in (atleast) this Christmas season!!💯

A Christmas Carol is a novella about a grumpy old man who hates christmas (Ebenezer Scrooge) once visited by a Ghost,(well known to him) on a Christmas Eve!!

The scenes depicting the beauty of the festive season..💫The amazing character portrayal of the protagonist and the thought provoking message at the end are my personal favourite elements from the book!🌟

The beautifully carved prose with a wonderful portrayal of different stages in human life makes ‘The Christmas Carol’ one of the finest from Dickens pen..👌

This book is a ‘worth reader’ ; a strong recommend for budding readers and pro-readers alike..(And can adorn your bookshelf for ages!)✌️

“I will honour christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.I will live in the Past , Present and the Future. The spirits of all three shall strive within me”

Sit back n its #Time to read#☺️

Don’t forget to gift this to your Christmas buddy !!☺️

#Bah humbag# for all those who find it annoying😅

My rating : 4/5 (minus 1 for confusing me with broad comparisons and far fetched spiritual tones🤥 )

God bless us , everyone!!😇
